Job Description

Job title: Infrastructure ArchitectExperience: 9-12 YearsJob Location: BangalorePlease refer below JD:Overview The Infrastructure Architecture function partners with Client Application Delivery Architecture to:

  • Deliver high quality technology platforms with tiered service levels
  • Deliver cost savings efficiency through reduced complexity
  • Improve time to market for delivery of services
  • Enable effective regulatory audit security controls
  • Drive productivity sustainability
  • Infrastructure Architecture is comprised of Enterprise Architects responsible for 3 5 year technical strategy underpinning the Future State Architecture Solution Architecture aligned to each Global Business to manage optimise the portfolio of infrastructure services used driving operational improvement cost efficiencies and providing cost effective infrastructure architecture designs which align with over all technical strategy
  • Technical Architects aligned by each technology to manage the infrastructure services vendor engagement and product lifecycles
  • This role will support the transformation programmes delivering new IT services exploiting current infrastructure technologies migrating applications to IaaS PaaS platforms on internal and external cloud
  • Driving a greater utilization of virtualisation lower cost storage
  • Migrating away from non strategic technology platforms
  • Optimising data backup and retention policies
  • Reducing the number of end user devices
Infrastructure Architecture s broader focus is to
  • Investigate new infrastructure technologies to meet the business requirements Provide technical governance
  • Write and review Infrastructure Architecture Designs approved by the Solutions Architecture Board
  • Keep up to date with business strategies road maps
  • Use knowledge of the business applications and infrastructure to make pro active recommendations where improvements can be made
  • The role focuses on both Architecture
  • Determine business requirement and influence solution towards Infrastructure future state model
  • Gauge strategic impact to business function impacted upstream and downstream services and subsequent technology footprint
  • Ensure logical design contributes to technology objectives
  • Examine potential demise opportunities and propose deployment options
  • Consider service placement requirements And Design
  • Delivering end to end technical infrastructure designs ensuring Non Functional Requirements are realised and validated
  • Verify impact to adjacent services systems and Validate deployment and support model Qualify technical acceptance of all components
  • Review design and gain approval via Solutions Architecture Board
  • Optimise commercials and approval
