Job Description

    Key Responsibilities
    • Overseeing International Shipments: Manage the import and export of goods, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
    • Customs Documentation: Ensure all customs documentation, permits, and certifications are properly completed for all shipments.
    • Compliance and Regulations: Monitor and comply with trade regulations and international trade laws, including import/export restrictions.
    • Supplier and Freight Forwarder Management: Coordinate with suppliers, shipping lines, and freight forwarders for smooth transit of goods.
    • Cost Control: Negotiate with suppliers and logistics providers to control costs while maintaining quality service.
    • Inventory and Supply Chain Coordination: Oversee inventory levels to ensure that product demand is met without overstocking.
    • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to transportation delays, customs issues, or trade disputes.
    • Trade Negotiation: Handle international trade contracts and pricing negotiations.
    • Tracking and Reporting: Track shipments and provide regular updates to management on shipping status and performance metrics.
    • Team Supervision: Lead and train a team of import/export coordinators, ensuring smooth operational execution.
