Our goal is to optimize our products to make sure our customers are mission ready.We are seeking an experienced Principal Engineer or software architect to lead our development team for our software solutions that meet our clients needs. Responsible to connect with clients to settle their requirements, providing comprehensive solution plans, and guiding a team of software engineers as they develop polished final products.To be successful as a Principal Engineer or software architect, you should be an expert problem solver with a strong understanding of the broad range of software technologies and platforms available. Top candidates will also be excellent leaders and communicators. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and have a passion for technology and creative problem solving. You will be responsible for encouraging new technologies and process, planning, crafting, and evaluating the strategy, as well as collaborating with product management. • Collaborating with various partners to resolve software requirements.
• Crafting high-level product specifications and design documents.
• Providing architectural blueprints to follow.
• Guiding and assisting the development team throughout the process.
• Fixing and resolving issues with coding or design.
• Ensuring that you and the team make sure to development schedules and deadlines.
• Share regular progress reports and setting goals.
• Examining and defining current architecture systems.
• Crafting scalable architecture systems for Java-based or .Net based applications.
• Identifying the hardware and software infrastructure needs to accommodate the company s architectural goals.
• Solving design flaws and system bottlenecks.
Qualifications:
• 10+ years of Development experience
• Excellent programming experience in Object oriented (For example: C# .Net, Java) languages.
• Extensive experience in software development
• Excellent knowledge of a variety of programming tools and development platforms.
• Highly analytical mentality, with an ability to see both the big picture and the details.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Hands on to write code.
• Ability to work well within a group or individually on projects.
• Analyzing Technology Environment
• Crafting Solution Prototype
• Participating in technology Selection.
Preferred skills/experience:
• Prior experience on JAVA, C#, .Net is added bonus.
• Experience with industry standard methodologies
• Experience with Security is added benefit.
• Experience with Capital planning domain is a plus.
• Experience with Agile project development.
