Job Description

    Job summaryIn our global Mandatory Document Compliance (MDC) Team, we are committed to understanding that status of all HR documents and ensuring that are effective and enforceable. Within MDC, the Effectiveness Analysis and Remediation Team is a new group charged with the mission of uncovering faulty documents, determining and resolving the root cause of the fault and implementing a remediation process to resolve the defective documents. We are seeking a Document Remediation Manager to lead the development and ongoing management of the Remediation process. This person will become and be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) of HR document effectiveness, identifying document remediation needs, conducting medium to large scale audits, defining and implementing solutions and driving issues to resolution. This L5 specialist will also review and implement new policies, programs, and procedures and develop and implement communication plans. They will work with stakeholders including Employment Legal, Outside Counsel, HR Risk and Compliance, Business Line HR, MDC senior leadership and vendors.Key job responsibilities
    • Investigates document discrepancies, presents high quality data findings, identifies remediation needs and shares recommendations with leaders.
    • Develops remediation plans, define program requirements and ensure team(s)/partners deliver so that the goals of program are met.
    • Support, reinforce, and drives change management in audit and remediation projects.
    • Creates business cases and manage enhancements.
    • Respond to escalations, providing roots cause analysis and recommendations.
    • Resources and executes cohesive end-to-end processes for team objectives. Builds robust mechanism and controls to verify effectiveness of documents.
    • Drive regular reviews of processes to meet delivery requirements. Accountable for keeping process documents up-to-date.
    • Creates and distributes standard communications, serves as a point of contact to answer questions for documents with deep knowledge of the area. Presents narratives to provide updates and drive objective cross-functional conversations, and gains alignment.
    • Owns implementation of training and guidance on policies, processes, and systems to improve the quality and productivity of the team. Delivery training and performance guidance to temporary resources if necessary.

    • Bachelor s degree, MBA degree is preferred
    • 5-7-year overall experience, minimum of 4-years HR domain experience or relevant substitute
    • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced deadline-oriented work environment
    • Ability to manage confidential and sensitive employee information and adhere to strict confidentiality standards
    • Concise narrative writing skills with data and recommendations. Proven ability of using verbal and written communications skills to influence customers and stakeholders.
    • Manage the execution of initiatives from idea through launch, while setting and managing the right expectations with all relevant stakeholders
    • Ability to prioritize multiple inputs and initiate course corrections in a complex, fast-paced environment
