Job Description

Greetings!!This side Vikas from Vrinda Consultants. We have job opening for position of GIS Specialist Bangalore Location.Position : GIS SpecialistLocation : Bangalore LocationExperience : 2+ YearsResponsibilities -

  1. Developping FME workbenches including the geospatial extensions
  2. Develop python scripts on ESRI products to automate geoprocessing tasks
  3. Develop gdal/ogr scripts to automate data processing tasks
  4. Configure database and generate SLQ Scripts (postgis, sqlserver)
  5. Connect with APIs to include the results in automated processes
  6. Provide options of solutions for complex data processing problems
  7. Meeting project managers and scientists needs.
Key Competencies / Skills / Qualifications
  1. Degree in GIS or Computer Science
  2. Excellent proficiency with FME software
  3. Proficiency with ESRI development technologies
  4. Familiarity with R
  5. Familiarity with Cloud solutions setup for ETL (e.g. open data)
  6. Familiarity with database technology such as SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
  7. Excellent verbal communication skills.
  8. Good problem solving skills.
  9. Attention to detail.
