Job Category: EngineeringPrimary Location: Bangalore, KA INOther Locations:Job Type: Experienced HireGraphics Hardware EngineerJob DescriptionThe candidate will be part of Display IP team in GTCHE Group Bangalore, GTCHE is responsible for delivering integrated/Discrete graphics IP for Intels various products. In this position, Candidate will be responsible for the pre-silicon validation of Display IP of Intel Microprocessors Internal Graphics. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Familiarizing yourself with design aspects of the Display Architecture, graphics components and usage models Analytically designing and developing/Scripting test scenarios, and using system validation tools execute these tests on emulation/simulation. Integrating the sub IPs, Maintaining the IP repositories, Builds with needed collateral. Develop efficient verification methodology, test benches, test sequences Based on UVM/OVM Debugging issues seen during these validation cycles, communicating the status of work, and working with stakeholders/partners to debug/resolve those issues Responding to customer requests or events as they occur and developing solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment Understand usage models in driver and bring in scenarios early in emulation/Simulation to minimize escapes. Track the progress of execution, attain quality/coverage goals.Qualifications Technical Masters degree or a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics/Computer Science/Embedded Systems with 3-5 years experience in areas of Emulation and silicon validation Should have good understanding of Computer architecture, micro controller/microprocessor. Good knowledge in Basic Digital electronics, VLSI Design, embedded system, RTOS concepts along with working experience. Should have the good understanding and verification experience on image processing/digital signal processing/Video processing technologies as per latest standards. Should have good understanding and validation experience on Digital Display Interfaces like HDMI, MIPI CSI/DSI, DisplayPort etc. Should have good understanding of programming languages like C, C++, basic knowledge on Unix. Should have good knowledge on Verilog/VHDL, Knowledge UVM concepts with experience in developing testbench sequences, drivers, scoreboards independently. Should have good working knowledge on scripting languages like perl, Ruby, python etc. Basic Experience in Developing system validation test plans for any embedded systems. Should have good problem solving skills, Working knowledge in emulators, system level validation debug skills like wave form capturing using emulation environment, Logic analyzers etc. Should have good communication skills.
