Job Description

What will you contribute Reporting to the FP&A Lead and located in Bangalore, the FP&A Analyst will be part the Global Finance organization of Finastra.Responsibilities & Deliverables:Your deliverables as a FP&A Analyst will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Special projects with implied responsibility for meeting project objectives and timely completion
  • Using strong analytical and Power BI/NetSuite/Anaplan modelling skills to interrogate data into clear, actionable reports that facilitate tactical and strategic decision making
  • Provide a deep source of knowledge across both ERP & Reporting system including reconciliations between internal systems to maintain strong data integrity
  • Clear understanding of the financial systems, process flow and able to design and implement the process in structured way
  • Maintaining data accuracy, system reconciliation between ERP system and reporting system
  • Working with finance teams to identify business requirements, process improvement, Automation and developing these using the applications
  • Data modelling and data mining using the database like Cognos Analytics & SQL
  • Assist with monthly and quarterly close activities and financial reporting as may be required
  • Perform ad hoc financial planning and analysis and all other duties as assigned
Required Experience:
  • MBA in Finance with Commerce background
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in Systems and financial roles
  • Experience in working with multidimensional databases, financial planning systems, strong financial acumen and a keen eye for detail
  • Highly process oriented and high degree of computer proficiency, particularly ERP systems, Cognos, SQL, Power BI and Advanced Microsoft Excel
  • Quick learner with a positive attitude, Tech Savvy, strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication both verbal and written and interpersonal skills, and an ability to effectively communicate with both Finance and technical teams
