Job Description

23436BRRequisition ID:23436BRBusiness Unit:CORCDM Smith is looking for a Service Desk Analyst to join our Business Technology team to provide first response support for end user hardware and software incidents.Escalates and assigns incidents to other IT staff members and ensures timely resolution of service requestsTroubleshoots 1st and 2nd tier incidents and responds to IT related requests for information via phone, email or through the incident tracking systemUtilizes support software to remotely assist staff as required. Interfaces with global IT staff to resolve incidents for staff in all CDM Smith offices worldwideEscalates issues as neededUpdates incidents and requests using internal tracking systemParticipates in IT meetings and group discussions related to service requests and active projectsSupports major modifications to the global IT infrastructure and software environment as requiredJob Title:Entry Service Desk SpecialistGroup:CORMinimum Qualifications:0- 3 years of experienceGood interpersonal and customer relations skillsProficiency in written and verbal communicationsGood organizational skillsUse of problem solving techniques and systems analysisExperience with IT Service Management toolsRequires practical knowledge of IT related hardware, Microsoft Office and Microsoft Windows operating systemsExperience supporting wireless and wired networks and there interoperation with computer systemsAvailability to work on- call at least one weekend per monthPreferred Qualifications:Associates degree in Computer ScienceJob Site Location:India - BangaloreAgency Disclaimer:All vendors must have a signed CDM Smith Placement Agreement from the CDM Smith Recruitment Center Manager to receive payment for your placement.
