Implements projects and monitors and maintains Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN) that exist in physical, virtual, and cloud- based environments. Assignments include routine issues and work is performed under direct supervision.1. Performs routine automation of workloads to improve performance, reduce costs, reduce maintenance of LAN and WAN. Develops routine scripts across various physical, virtual, and cloud platforms as directed.2. Supports the implementation of LAN and WAN projects including installations, modifications, and upgrades of wireless, routers, switches, firewalls, etc. Under direct supervision, collaborates with internal resources, under direct supervision, to implement optimal network designs for different physical, virtual, and cloud platforms.3. Monitors LAN and WAN performance. Tracks metrics and collects and analyzes logs. Remediates routine problem situations as needed. Escalates more complex problem situations.4. Maintains detailed documentation of network components including wireless, routers, switches, firewalls, etc. 5.
