In this role, you will be responsible for the operation of the global Citrix network, both wired and wireless. The candidate serves as Network Operations Engineer in a large global enterprise and will be responsible for providing Tier 3 operations including network configuration and implementation, and maintenance support by identifying and resolving network issues, and proactively monitoring the health of the global WAN / LAN infrastructure and service.If you want to be part of a growing business, have a strong interest in learning new technologies and implementing innovative solutions to documentation challenges, and are passionate about creating content that customers love to read, get in touch with us to explore the exciting opportunity at Citrix.In this role, you will be an individual contributor owning the product deliverable for a product or module(s) within a product. You will have the opportunity to work with team of product engineers, test engineers, GUI engineers, product managers, and support and sales engineers to create the required documentation.Role Responsibilities

• Deployment, configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of LAN and WAN networks.
• Troubleshooting problems and identifying effective resolutions and workarounds.
• Monitor network performance, security, and connectivity using tools such as AppNeta, Cisco PRIME, WhatsUp Gold and others.
• Respond to tier 3 support requests regarding network issues. Working as a team, resolve and escalate issues to return services to end users as quickly as possible. Provide appropriate updates during outages or periods of degraded performance.
• Perform routine maintenance and upgrades of routers, switches, firewalls and other network hardware components.
• Capacity planning for LAN / WAN services and partner with Design teams for proactive upgrades when necessary to ensure consistent performance.
• Develop, maintain accurate and updated documentation.

Basic Qualifications:

• You should have knowledge and / or configuration of Citrix networking products including NetScaler ADC and SD - WAN solutions or similar technologies. Must be self - motivated with strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and organizational skills
• Have the ability to work and team effectively with clients, management, and staff members in a multi - tiered, fast - paced environment
• .You should Posses Advanced knowledge of network troubleshooting techniques and tools.
• CCNA is required and CCNP certification is preferred.
• You should be able to travel both domestically and internationally and be willing to work outside of normal business hours as needed.
• 24x7 on - call participation on a rotational basis required
• Working knowledge of the following technologies : Basic Unix/Linux and/or Microsoft Windows sysadmin skills. :
• Working knowledge of IP Protocols (ICMP, TCP, UDP, DHCP, and DNS); IP Filtering and Firewalling; Routing Protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP); Ethernet (STP, dot1x, VLANs) VXLAN and Spine - Leaf architecture Virtual Private Networking (VPN)
• Thorough experience with Cisco switching and routing products (ISR, ASR, Nexus, and Catalyst product lines).
• Thorough experience with Citrix NetScaler and SD WAN along with Citrix ADM.
• Prior experience in troubleshooting and understanding VXLAN and Spine - Leaf deployments.
• Understanding of AAA platforms such as Radius and/or TACACS. Prior experience and ability to work with Cisco ISE system
• Bachelor s degree in Engineering
• At least 7+ years as a Network Operations Engineer.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Automation and coding skills are preferred. Python / JAVA / REST
• Should be able to learn new products and technologies quickly and have the versatility to move between projects.
• Should be highly organized, can work independently in a fast - paced environment, and produce documentation deliverable with frequent deadlines.
• Should have an eye for detail, and a non - negotiable attitude towards creating quality documentation.
• ITIL certification
