Job Description

*OverviewA highly motivated and technically proficient professional, capable of delivering solution on Data Engineering and Operations in Cloud platform. He or she must be skilled in developing all rituals for Data Engineering and operations including ELT, SQL & No-SQL storage, data pipelining, data ingestion, monitoring, visualization etc.Job Responsibilities

  • Creating a Knowledge Base (KB)
    • Needs to be created in confluence
  • Starting Knowledge Transfer
    • e.g. existing instances, DevOpsBoard, project rules, existing/planned architecture.
    • Overview of the subprojects in the eMission Analytics context
  • Creating Service Level Agreements (SLA)
    • SLA on technical level (Daimler Azure) / OLA with Daimler Azure support
    • Optional: SLA on application level
    • Establishing workflows/processes with the Daimler Azure support for failures, downtimes, features, etc.
  • User Management
    • Existing concept can be adopted and developed (e.g. Databricks, ADLS, Tableau, etc.)
  • WebApp Development (generell)
  • Monitoring
    • e.g. availability of the system, disk space, access, etc.
  • Backup concept
    • Handling of personal data (deletion process)
  • Maintenance (Checks/Downtimes)
    • for self-developed processes
    • communication process for interfaces, firewall topics, port activation, security in Daimler Azure, needs to be developed
  • Setup new instances in Daimler Azure
    • Communication with Daimler Azure Support
    • Documentation
  • Self Service Portale (Tableau /Power BI)
  • Process Integration in Microsoft 365
    • In focus when complete rollout of M365 in Daimler AG available
  • Development of extensions
    • e.g. Custom Visuals for Power BI & Tableau Extensions
QualificationMandatory:
  • Bachelors /post graduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field of study or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Azure Data Engineering
    • Data factory,
    • Databricks,
    • Tableau/PowerBI
    • ADLS
    • WebApp Development
    • User Management
    • Monitoring
    • Backup concept
    • Setup new instances
    • Maintenance (Checks/Downtimes)
  • Self Service Portale (Tableau /Power BI)
  • Process Integration in Microsoft 365
  • Development of extensions
Desired:
  • Knowledge on ITIL framework
  • Experience in building Knowledge Base (KB)
