Position: Business Analyst ManagerPeriod: PermanentExperience: 10 yrsHours: Monday - Friday 112:00am to 89:00pm ISTLocation: RMZ EcoworldExperience Skill: Senior 8years, Intermediate 5 to 7yearsRole Description: SSgA is looking for a Lead business analyst who would be part of the development and QA team and will primarily focus on applications responsible for Derivatives business. These applications are used by various teams across SSgA globally hence, the individual would be required to communicate and liaise with them to execute various high visibility projects.Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Deep understanding of Investment Management, Asset Management business with in depth knowledge on Derivatives Listed and OTC along with other asset classes of Fixed Income, FX and Equity
• Fair exposure to Product modelling, P/L calculations, Investment Analytics, Interest Rate sensitivity etc. in Excel and knowledge of valuation and pricing frameworks of various financial products would be required.
• Strong Experience in Trade Life cycle of securities
• Hands on Experience on Charles River Development platform or equivalent multi asset trading platforms
• Good Experience as Lead BA in complex technology solution implementation
• Good understanding of Regulatory reporting such as EMIR, SFTR
• All aspects of Requirement Gathering, Data Analysis, Gap Analysis.
• Should be able to work independently and lead a team of business analysts
• Produce high quality analysisAnalysis and functional specification documents (BSD/FSD)
• Produce Test Plans and Scenarios
• Excellent Documentation Skills
• Liaise between IT and Business and drive discussions among cross functional teams
• Assuming ownership of problems and driving towards their resolution
• Functional/Acceptance Testing of own & dependent applications
• Scoping of work streams and estimation of proposed work
• Effectively manage day-to-day tasks / activities in coordination with a team of developers to effectively meet the deliverables
• AbilityShould be able to train and lend support to various business and technology teams as necessary
• Knowledge of External Data Systems like Bloomberg/ReutersExperience on Agile development methodologies
• Excellent Communication skills
• Good technical skills in SQL and MS excel

Desirable:

• Knowledge of JIRA/ Agile tools
• Test-driven or Agile development methodologies

Person SpecificationEssential:

• A minimum of Degree (Engineering/MS/MCA/MBA) level qualification with finance and IT related subjects is required, plus relevant experience or training in many of the main duties specified in the Job Description.
• Demonstrable knowledge and expertise of, and exposure to, the majority of the financial products listed in the Job Description.

• Prior exposure to CRIMS platform (Functional Modules) or similar derivatives systems would be required
• Should possess consulting approach like a practitioner with strong problem solving abilities
• Should have natural interest in learning new things proactively and keep updated on the regulation and industry happenings
• Be part of global team and is flexible and willing to do hands on Analysis and Testing
• Really good communication skill patience and aptitude for lots of conference callsDesirable:

• Financial certifications like CFA/FRM would be desirable

• Exposure to Hedge fund would be an added advantage

• Demonstrable knowledge of, or exposure to, any of the secondary development technologies listed in the Job Description.
