What You ll Do
  • Ciscos Customer Journey team is on a mission to improve the world s experiences. You ll work with technologies and platforms spanning Cloud, Premise, Analytics, Integration, Connectivity, Messaging and more all to help the world s leading global brands better engage and serve their customers.
As an engineer, you will:
  • Run/Support production Cloud application environments on AWS
  • Handle/Support existing toolsets used in deploying VPCs, EC2 instances and related services
  • Work on new AWS environments as part of new projects
  • Ensure security standard methodologies are followed as per the security compliances
  • Work in 24/7 rotational shifts
Who You AreYou will enjoy working in a fast-paced dynamic environment with a take-charge / can-do attitude and is able to demonstrate flexibility and resiliency. You be self-sufficient and be able to work with minimal supervision. Work with geographically distributed teams across different time zones.Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree (or above) in engineering/computer science with an overall work experience of 3 - 6 years.
  • Experience in public cloud environment - AWS
  • Experience with automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform
  • Proficient at creating Docker container configurations
  • Experience with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes
  • Experience with automation tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Flexibility: Ability to take care of short-term requirements as well as long-term goals
  • Knowledge on CI/CD tools like Jenkins/AWS CodeDeploy
  • Hands-on exposure to automation with proficiency in at least one programming language
  • Experience in Monitoring tools like Nagios
