Job Description

Roles Responsibility:

  • Create a well- informed cloud strategy and manage the adaption process.
  • Regularly evaluate cloud applications, hardware, and software.
  • Develop and organize cloud systems.
  • Work closely with IT security to monitor the companys cloud privacy.
  • Respond to technical issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Offer guidance in infrastructure movement techniques including bulk application transfers into the cloud.
  • Identify the top cloud architecture solutions to successfully meet the strategic needs of the company.

Qualifications / Education / Experience / Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Electronics or a related field
  • 7+ years in IT field with 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud Services.
  • Should have demonstrable experience with Azure services (IAAS, FAAS and PAAS).
  • At least 2 years experience in implementing end to end Azure/AWS/GCP cloud solution at enterprise level.
  • Experience in defining and implementing Cloud Adoption and Migration of on- premises workload to Azure/AWS/GCP cloud.
  • Experience with designing and developing cloud storage solutions with scalability.
  • Good grasp of cloud design in the areas of virtualization and global infrastructure, distributed systems, load balancing, and security.
  • 2+ years of experience writing code in one or more languages (Python, R, Node.js, C#, Java, etc.)
  • You should have strong working knowledge of any RDBMS design practices and use cases
  • You should be hands on with Enterprise data warehouse and any of the ETL tool.
  • Strong knowledge of application development processes, DevOps, and Agile methodologies
  • Should have one or more certification in Azure
  • Good to have Docker experience
  • Exceptional communication and personal skills, both written, verbal and while presenting to groups, including C- level executives

Azure

  • Extensive experience in Azure services- Azure Blob storage, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL DB, Azure DW, Power BI, Azure Event Hub, Azure Stream Analytics.
  • Hands- on experience with SparkSQL on Databricks and integration of ADF/ADLS/SQL DW (Synapse Analytics)/AAS is mandatory.

AWS

  • Extensive experience in AWS services- S3, Glacier, Glue/pipeline, RDS, Redshift, Batch, cloud watch, VPC, Load balancer, EC2, Auto scaling groups, EMR
  • Hands- on experience with SparkSQL on Databricks

GCP

  • Extensive experience in GCP services- Cloud Storage, Archive, Dataflow, Dataproc, Data fusion, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Cloud Spanner, Big Table, Cloud Run, Cloud Scheduler, Stackdriver, VPC, Load balancer, Compute Engine, Managed groups, IAM, App engine, Cloud Functions, GKE
  • Hands- on experience with spark and map reduce on Dataproc
