Together we are building industry-leading solutions that are effective and enduring.What Youll DoAs a Business Systems Analyst, you will develop scalable futuristic architecture to address new business models, business challenges and help drive digital transformation. You will collaborate on multi-functional projects to identify areas for improvement. You will analyze internal processes, data, and problems and identify benefits from enabling new capabilities by using new & emerging digital and cloud technologies.Design, propose and enable entire data architecture for the Cisco Legal department. Provide straightforward data storage, retrieval, and enabling intelligence insights to address complex business intelligence needs for our stakeholders. Strategize, plan, and implement data integrations with internal legal and non-legal data repositories with transparent access management, data governance, and security Work closely with Business owners, Product owners, Business, and Technology enablement teams to drive holistic data/document and knowledge management solutions. Work closely with our business enablement team to develop a deep understanding of each data type, manage, and monitor current architectural integrations and make recommendations on innovative ways to apply the insights for increased operational excellence. Collaborate with IT and legal and non-legal cross-functional teams to implement an integrated and innovative digital experience. Communicate developments and milestones effectively to a large group of stakeholders across the Legal Department. Stay up to date on points of view from leading industry analysts and key influencers in the market to present continuous improvements to the existing data, tool, and BI architecture.Who Youll Work WithThis role is part of a fun-loving, diverse team with a broad range of cultures and backgrounds. You will work with Legal teams, data and IT professionals, and other business teams. You will engage with both leaders and individual contributors while collaborating across multi-functions at Cisco.Specifically, You will:Analyzing complex business problems and collaborating with Technical Architects and Development Leads to define and document current and future state architecture designs and plan to implement these. Working with multi-functional teams to explore inbound & outbound integrations by creating logical models and data flows. Having prior experience in working with enterprise-level data & metrics is preferable Identifying and resolving operational issues raised by users by investigating the underlying data structures and reports Drive critical system re-architecture proposals to simplify the business processes. Conducting post-project evaluations to find areas of improvement and growth. Helping to manage risks, issues, and dependencies across multiple teams, and reporting status to managers and business partners Communicate business requirements to technical and non-technical team members Balance multiple competing priorities through effective organization and communicationQualifications 6+ years of professional experience as an IT/ Business Systems Architect or other techno-functional roles with a BS degree in Computer Science or Information Science is plus Excellent verbal, written communication, and client management skills Have a strong urge towards user-centric design to provide the best user experience for the end-users Expertise in Snowflake, Oracle, MongoDB, MySQL, Kafka, Java, Microservices based Software Development. Experienced in Agile and Waterfall development methodologies Understanding of software development lifecycles and tools, including design and operations Ability to establish relationships with global colleagues Lead and maintain an agile partnership between business, operations, and IT Experienced in facilitating estimation sessions and value-driven decision making Proficiency in understanding business functional areas, processes, and data related to Legal data needs and the ability to articulate clearly Why Cisco #WeAreCisco, where each person is unique, but we bring our talents to work as a team and make a difference.
