Job Description

Essential Job Functions / KRAs

  • Develop features across multiple subsystems within applications, including collaboration in requirements definition, design, coding, testing and deployment
  • Participate actively in software design discussions
  • Provide documentation as appropriate including design documentation, inputs for external specifications; system requirements specifications and end user documentation
  • Implement code in a timely fashion and with high quality, consistent with standards
  • Develop Unit Test Cases, perform Unit Testing and document test results
  • Plan, process and perform all jobs in an efficient manner with little assistance from the supervisor
  • Analyze current programs including performance, diagnosis and troubleshooting of problem programs, and designing solutions to problematic programming
Required Skill Set
  • Extensive technical experience and development expertise in Core Java,J2EE,Web services, REST, Spring Framework, Junit, JSON and XML
  • Hands on experience in Apache Camel and good knowledge on Enterprise Integration Patterns
  • Good Knowledge and hands on in NoSQL Databases like MongoDB
  • Possess knowledge of object-oriented design and development (OOA/OOD) and the J2EE framework
  • Experience working with and applying Design patterns to solve problems
  • Hands on experience using DEVOPS tools like Jira, Wiki, GIT, CI tools like Jenkins, Ansible /Puppet
  • Demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrate high level of problem-solving skills
  • Hands on experience in Tomcat
  • Hands-on experience in Linux/Unix environment
  • Knowledge on all aspects of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Primary Skills: Hands on Experience in programing language of Java / J2EE, XML, Spring, WSDL, REST, SOAP, JBOSS Drools Search engine, JUnit
  • Secondary Skills: JSP, jQuery, Oracle, Tomcat, JIRA, Log4j, Subversion, Hibernate
Non-Technical Skills/Competencies
  • Excellent technical communication skills in both written and spoken English
