Skills & Experience You will have Expert knowledge and experience of the following areas: LAN Cisco Routing & Switching (IOS, ASR, ISR and Nexus) Cisco IOS and NX- OS operating systems Exposure to Cisco Catalyst 3850 / 3750 / 3650 / E 4510 R / Nexus 7k and 5k: Design, support, install, and maintain local area network and wide area network. VLAN, L3 interfaces, TCP/ IP, VRRP, HSRP, DHCP WAN Knowledge of WAN services and MPLS, DMVPN Exposure to Riverbed Optimizers. Routing Protocols EIGRP OSPF BGP Wireless, Load balancers & NAC Good hands on experience on Cisco Wireless LAN controller and Access points (Controller 5508, 5520) Exposure to BIGIP F5 Load balancers. Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) Security Ops (Checkpoint Firewall) Check Point Firewall Versions R77.30 and R80.10 Check Point Multi Domain Management and VSX environments. Check Point IPS and Threat Prevention blades ClusterXL, CoreXL and SecureXL Network Security products (including IDS, IPS, DLP) DDOS mitigation techniques and technologies Cisco ASA Firewall and AnyConnect VPN Web Proxy / URL filtering (Websense/ Forcepoint) / Cloud Proxy Strong understanding of troubleshooting knowledge i.e FW Monitor, TCPDUMP Wireshark Network Address Translation (NAT) IPSec VPN, TACACS authentication You would ideally have a solid understanding or experience with the following areas: Checkpoint R80 Management API Scripting knowledge Firewall Assurance tools (Algosec, SkyBox) ServiceNow Ticketing Tool. Solarwinds & Net Flow or similar Network Monitoring tool. Cisco Works Cisco Prime for Wireless. Packet Capture (e.g. Wireshark or similar) Cisco TACACS You will have the following certification or demonstrable working experience: Degree level qualification in a relevant field Cisco CCNA certified, CCNP strongly preferred Check Point CCSE/ CCSM certified Key Personal Attributes You will have at least 5- 10 years experience of network security and internetworking within a global enterprise scale organisation (5000- 50, 000 users) You will be a recognized expert in your field. You will have considerable first- hand experience in providing BAU support for both network and security technologies. You will be used to providing technical support in a pressurized environment You will be an excellent communicator with effective influencing skills and liaise effectively with global colleagues and team members at all levels. You will be able to identify tasks and manage them effectively to completion autonomously without supervision. You will be highly organised and have proven ability to operate well under pressure, working to tight deadlines; leading complex investigations to root cause analysis. You will have excellent problem management and customer service skills. You will have a positive attitude and be capable of remaining positive even when under immense pressure. You work well with others, in a collaborative environment. You discourage hero culture and ensure the team always comes before the individual. You will have an attention to detail in everything you do along with a natural willingness to help your customers and colleagues.
