Job Description

    Mandatory expectation for all roles as per Syngene safety guidelines
    • Overall adherence to safe practices and procedures of oneself and the teams aligned

    • Ensure all assigned mandatory trainings related to data integrity, health, and safety measures are completed on time by all members of the team including self

    Core Purpose of the Role:
    • Synthesis & purification of oligonucleotides in mg scale.
    • Independently handling automated oligo synthesis using solid phase eg. OP100, Mermade etc., and take responsibility to troubleshoot in case of challenges.
    Role Accountabilities:
    • Synthesis & purification of oligonucleotides in mg scale
    • Independently handling automated oligo synthesis using solid-phase eg. OP100, Mermade, etc. and take responsibility to troubleshoot in case of challenges.
    • Interpretation of HPLC/LCMS analysis of oligonucleotides and peptides (ESI, MALDI-TOF, Orbitrap, APCI, Q-TOF, MS/MS, etc.)
    • Knowledge of oligonucleotide purification techniques using AKTA
    • Understanding and demonstrating responsibility for safety of self & colleagues by following all safety protocols provided by Syngene
    • Adherence to all environment, health, and safety (EHS) policies & standards at all times in the workplace
    • Wearing all PPE as required.
    • Adherence to all procedures related to Syngene s data integrity policies
    • Compliance to Syngene s quality standards at all times.

    Experience: 6-9 years of experience in oligo synthesis & purification Skills and Capabilities:
    • Synthesis of oligonucleotides in mg scale
    • Independently handling automated oligo synthesis using solid-phase eg. OP100, Mermade, etc., and take responsibility to troubleshoot in case of challenges.
    • Interpretation of HPLC/LCMS analysis of oligonucleotides and peptides (ESI, MALDI-TOF, Orbitrap, APCI, Q-TOF, MS/MS, etc.)
    • Knowledge of oligonucleotide purification techniques.
    • Focus on the deliverable of the project right from Initiation to end.
    • Ability to work with leadership and management team.
