In this role you ll call on your experience designing tailored solutions to understand the requirements of a project, test the performance of the infrastructure, and verify that the requirements have been successfully met. As a team, you and your peers will be responsible for driving results, collecting and analyzing monitoring data in test and production, and managing projects to completion. And while you will be part of a tight-knit team of engineers who shares your passion for technology, you ll also gain access to the best minds in the business both as part of the JPMorgan Chase & Co. global technology community, and through our partnerships with some of the most important tech firms in the world.Technology platforms and services in scope are Unified Communications Platforms (infrastructure and Applications), Telepresence and multi-media based collaboration, Session Management and Session Initiation Protocol (SIP), Gateway development and management, Cyber security and Controls. Key responsibilities includes Engineer, deploy and operate advanced SIP and Session Management based networks, Provide design requirements to integrate existing and new applications to Session Management, VoIP and IP Architecture and Network Design, Develop network monitoring and SIP troubleshooting tools, Capacity Engineering and Systems Design, Demonstrate an expert level competency on the core SIP elements (including call flows, dial plans, call control, SIPREC, options and header manipulation), Build the operational strategy and practice for hygiene operations and life-cycle management across all Global Communication Network Voice Services.This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
• Proficient knowledge in the following key areas: Hardware Architecture (performance testing, monitoring, operations), Hardware Bench marking (program management, network management), Design (compliance, security), Network Engineering (planning, provision)
• Knowledge of one specific infrastructure technology and basic programming languages or database management systems (Java, PERL, Python)
• Intermediate understanding of LOB technology drivers and their impact on architecture design
• Knowledge of more than one specific infrastructure technology
• Thinks creatively to deliver solutions through continuous improvement
• 8+ years of experience in Information Technology with a specific emphasis on SIP Networks and interoperability with blended technologies, including integration into desktop solutions
• Excellent understanding of SBC elements and communication
• Extensive knowledge in VoIP transport, such as H.323, SIP, call admission and control mechanisms, integration of cross platform technologies, centralization of call processing and network policy enforcement
• Working experience with the following Protocols and platforms: SIP, WebRTC, SIPRec, HTTP, XML, VXML, SCXML, REST APIs, SSL, WSS, TLS, IPV4, OSPF, BGPV4, MPLS, ISDN, SS7, H.248, SNMP, ATM, Windows, Linux, Unix
• Current knowledge of telephony PBX environments, dial plan schemes, trunking, reporting of usage and capacity metrics.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge on ITIL, DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering methods and/or hands on experience.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Experience in leading in an Agile culture
