Job Description

OverviewWe are looking for an Associate Corporate Counsel to join Recharge s growing in-house legal team. You will be responsible for coordinating exemplary legal service at Recharge with a focus on supporting commercial negotiations and transactions. You will act as a key point of contact for the sales, partnership and customer success teams and help negotiate key terms with third parties. You will also refine and evolve legal and business processes with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external. In addition, you will develop legal playbooks and other resources to empower our business teams. The right person will be comfortable working with cross-functional teams and have the ability to manage a wide range of projects.What You ll Do

  • Partner with various stakeholders in the company to help drive business outcomes
  • Provide legal support to our sales and partnership teams on a broad range of commercial agreements, including nondisclosure agreements, master service agreements, order forms and partnership agreements.
  • Participate in end-to-end contract support (i.e., advising, drafting, negotiating and readying for execution) for vendor transactions
  • Provide legal advice to business partners on a broad range of legal topics
  • Assist in the operation and development of policies and procedures for the company
  • Contribute to problem resolution by identifying, addressing, and escalating issues as they arise
What You ll Bring
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal department
  • JD from an ABA-accredited U.S. law school with strong academic credentials
  • Active member of a recognized state bar in the United States
  • Excellent negotiating and drafting skills on financial/commercial transactions
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to interact effectively with various levels of staff and management in various departments
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented and driven to do things right
  • Self-motivated with a passion for taking ownership of your work and delivering outcomes
  • Effective in a dynamic environment, adapting to and managing change in a positive and proactive manner
  • A team player with a winning as a team attitude
