The position will have an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and partner with Finance, P&A, Risk, and other groups throughout the Firm. As a result, excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential. The position will provide an in-depth understanding of CBB products, financial statements, internal controls and reporting requirements.Role and Responsibilities:

• The candidate will be responsible for ensuring all the month end journals are posted on timely basis. Calculate and oversee accruals and reversals
• Distribute and create financial reporting to support accounting and finance team
• Support the External reporting validations for CCB Deposits
• Support the periodic Recovery & Resolution appendices and other Regulatory submissions.
• Review and test system enhancements for financial and regulatory reporting
• Establish strong relationships and provide support to CBB leaders, Finance, Project Managers, and related control groups
• Constructively escalate issues and present complex information in a clear and concise manner to Management
• Assist in implementation of new accounting standards and reporting requirements by staying current with evolving US GAAP and regulatory changes impacting the business

• Bachelor s Degree in Accounting
• 5-7 years experience in accounting department (internal or external)
• CA or CPA candidate preferred.

• Ability to grasp concepts quickly, develop a plan, and execute for results
• Solid problem solving, analytical, and creative thinking skills
• Ability to summarize large amounts of data, formulate a concise message, and communicate clearly to Management
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP preferable
• Proficiency in Excel, SAP and Hyperion Essbase preferred
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills
• Primarily 2PM - 11PM shift. This may vary due to business requirements during critical business days
