Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities - Implement templates of all standard documents. Manage SME collection legal matters directly. Work closely with SME Collections to formulate and implement the strategy. Coordinate the effort of all SME Collections lawyers across the Mumbai territory. Empanel and coordinate with local lawyers, maintain relationships. Improve recoveries and control costs for SME Collections Legal Team Maintaining Legal MIS of all litigations, cost and transactions. Implement alternative dispute resolution methods. Maintain record for Compliance and Audit. Depending on the capability and performance of the candidate, the job holder will assist other senior lawyers in the team. Formulate a strategy for increasing the impact of legal processes. , Should be a Law graduate. 2 years or 3 years PQE preferably in Finance Industry. Experience in handling Civil, Criminal, Consumer matters & fair understanding of handling Insolvency matters. 3 years or 5 years integrated LLB Degree. Qualified to practice law in India. Experience in litigation preferably in Banking and Finance Sector with comprehensive drafting knowledge. Experience of S138/ Sec 25/ Arbitration/ Sec 9/ Sec 17/ Winding-up/ Insolvency proceedings. Experience in handling Against cases (consumer, civil, criminal & Insolvency matters) Strong written and oral communication skills. Existing proficiency in Microsoft Office software products including Internet, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Should be willing to travel. Should have worked in a process oriented environment.
