Define, design, and implement network communications and solutions within a fast-paced, leading edge database/applications company.Perform performance trend analysis and manage the server/network capacity. Propose client configuration and implement technical solutions to enhance and/or troubleshoot the system. Work with others to define, coordinate vendor purchase needs. Responsible for support documentation as well.Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. BS in Computer Science or related field., The candidate hired in this position will be part Application Management Services (AMS) team supporting Health Sciences Global Business Unit (HSGBU) cloud offerings. HSGBU AMS team operates on a 24*7 model and the candidate will be supporting Argus cloud service for Production customers hosted on Oracle Cloud.General Requirements:Minimum 2-8 years of Oracle Argus Safety administration experience in 24/7 operationsShould have completed at least two complete Oracle Argus setup and upgrade projects 7.0 and above preferredKnowledge of Dictionary Upgrade MedDRA/WHODD preferredShould have knowledge of Oracle Argus System and Business ConfigurationMust have worked in a regulated requirementKnowledge of OBIEE, ODI, Argus Analytics & Argus MartAbility to effectively provision, install/configure, operate and maintain Argus and vendor packaged software applications/packages.Minimum 2-5 years of experience in system design, administration, application software, and operations required.Ability to research and develop solutions to new or unknown Argus and Database issuesAble to work independently, manage time and complete tasks within deadlinesProactive, self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized.Assist project teams with technical issues, including definition of needs, benefits, technical strategy, technical analysis and design, support of operations staff in executing, testing, and rollout of solutions.Technical Requirements: Good knowledge of Oracle Argus Safety, IIS web servers and Windows serversKnowledge of Windows server operating systems and environmentsSystem Validation knowledge IQ/OQ/PQSolid experience with Application, SQL Script deploymentsPrevious experience writing simple automation scripts using any language (Shell, VBScript, PowerShell, etc.) preferredUnderstanding of local and wide area networks, protocol and simple network troubleshootingQualifications: Solid technical background and experience working with Oracle Safety Argus SuitePossess fine-tuned analytical and troubleshooting skills and/or programming experienceShould have worked on any ticketing toolPossess system deployment/implementation expertise; preferably in a regulated environmentPossess good organizational and communication skillsKnowledge of the clinical drug development industry, procedures/processes, and regulatory standards desirableProficiency in related, underlying technologies, including SQL, Oracle, XML, and integration technologies and standardsPossess a working knowledge in software development tools, practices and lifecycle methodologiesExperience with producing documentation in a regulatory-compliant environmentAbility to handle multiple tasksBachelors degree in technical domain or Bachelors degree and applicable technical educationMinimum Required Education and Experience 2-5 years of experience in IT Operations & SupportHave worked for a Pharma and or CRO at least for 2 or more yearsBachelors degree in IT or equivalentFamiliarity with FDA and EMA Drug and Device Safety Reporting regulations desirableFamiliarity and Experience with Agile methodology and ScrumITIL Certification is preferred
