    Job Description Position : Department Head, Expertise Family, (Global Information Systems & Services (CI) Department code : CI/XSB ; Target reporting to : CI/XSDesired Level : SLx (SL2 / TP2 / seinior SL1)1) Resource planningResponsible for Demand fulfillment within a competence area of SAP Basis, SAP Archiving Solutions and Database Solutions competence areas.Talent acquisition from all channels - Hiring/Partners/internal movement/Regions/ UniversitiesBased on level of competence required from the project demands, ensure right resources are allocated in a timely mannerAllocation and utilization efficiency to be maximizedPlan for unallocated resources to retrain and deploy2) Competence developmentPlan and execute the competency building of associatesResponsible for Competency building roadmap in line with Business demands of today and futurePlan to upskill/reskill associates in sync with overall competence frame workSupport Center of Excellence (CoE) to arrive and develop strategic and current competenciesExecution and reporting of Competence Development progress3) Associate engagementEngage closely with the associates and enable their developmentEnsure goal deployment for each associate, provide periodic feedback and enable a high-performance culture in the teamEnsure competence development plan is available for each associateIdentify high performers and enable their career growth and overall developmentSimilarly, identify the and low performers, plan for their development and implement improvement measuresIdentify factors for attrition and define measures to contain attrition4) Strategy, Operations & ReportingTarget Business planning and Cumulative forecast to be done for workforce requirementBusiness planning (Budget, Demand, HC and competency planning)Build appropriate sourcing strategy to fulfill targetCalibrating demands for various recruitment channels as per the Business plan (freshers, laterals, regions, locations, outsourcing)Alignment with sourcing entities HR, Partner management, Locations and RegionsResponsible for optimum utilization of Outsourcing as a fulfilment leverResponsible for effective utilization of the talent in the regions and locations of CI globallyProviding monthly status reports and highlighting risks / coming up with mitigation plansTracking and Reporting of KPIsPrimary Ownership topicsAccountable for Demand fulfillment as per SLAClose collaboration with Business teams for an effective demand-SupplyLiaising with HR & Outsourcing teamsForecasting (TBP, CF & Actual) ; close collaboration with Business and CTGProactively identify high demand skills and ensure on-time availability of skilled associatesCompetency building of associatesGoals setting, feedback & Performance discussionsAssociate Induction, Engagement & RetentionAssociate development (Career guidance and development discussions)Accountable to develop the current and future competence required for the OrganizationMajor look fors 20 + Yrs of overall IT experience SL2 / TP2 / Senior SL1Previous experience leading, and growing SAP topics/ Basis Practice / ERP functional and technical teams is an advantageCertifications related to Leadership, SAP Basis and SAP competencies perferableGood understanding of the SAP specific technologies relevant for Basis, Archiving and DatabaseAbility to manage Global teams with cultural sensitivityPeople manager with passion to lead with empathyEffective Stakeholder management skills to manage wide variety of stakeholders globallyDriving topics under uncertain / ambiguous conditions,
