You will ship solutions that address customer opportunities in the areas of natural language processing, computer vision, audio processing and text-to-speech, and personalization. Our work spans across all three modalities of the PV content delighting numerous customers. Correspondingly all our solutions factor in the scale of serving large volumes across various geographies.You will be part of a team that is at the forefront of inventing new audio-visual and accessible media localization technology to provide incredible experiences to audiences around the world. This also includes work that overlaps with content creation pipeline of production houses and other studios. You will partner with top AI scientists, software engineers, product managers and creative talent across Amazon. You will not only be expected to use state-of-the-art scientific literature but also contribute to inventing new solutions through the research-experiment-build-launch journey.In this role, you will be expected to Own the full development cycle from ideation to launch Propose and validate hypotheses to direct our business and product road-map. Research, invent and implement novel machine/deep learning architectures/algorithms and contribute to state-of-the-art (especially in NLP, Computer Vision, Audio Processing and Text-to-Speech systems) Train ML models or DL architectures (like CNN, LSTM, seq2seq models, etc) applied to any domain within our scope, PhD or equivalent Masters Degree plus 3+ years of experience in CS, CE, ML or related field 2+ years of experience of building machine learning models for business application Strong programming experience demonstrating the ability to design, implement, run and analyze large-scale experiments. Proficiency in Python Hands-on experience working in ML/DL applied to computer vision with methods like CNN, GANs etc., NLP with methods like seq2seq including machine translation, language generation, etc., and audio processing and text-to-speech speech systems. Publications at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals Proven track record of innovation in creating novel algorithms and advancing the state of the art (especially in NLP, Computer Vision, Audio Processing and text-to-speech systems) Proven ability to design, implement and operate large projects at scale. Strongly motivated by entrepreneurial projects and experienced in collaboratively working with a diverse team of engineers, product managers, analysts, operations personnel and business management in achieving superior results. Strong ability in problem solving and driving for results. Experience with related AWS services and large datasets. Strong personal interest in learning, researching, and creating new technologies with high customer impact.
