Job Description

Your Role and Responsibilities Responsibilities:
  • Responsible to work with a team to develop web platforms, solutions, applications, and interfaces
  • Create and maintain websites including e-commerce platforms and custom applications
  • Provide support for the optimization effort of applications, with emphasis on improvements to application performance and page loading times.
  • Test solutions to acceptable standards prior to handing over to System Testing
  • Contribute to the implementation of effective website maintenance, monitoring and development strategies
  • Develop new code and improve existing code to provide stable, high performance solutions
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Minimum 6+ years development experience in IBM WebSphere Commerce, version 7.0/8.0
  • Solid understanding of WCS architecture, Catalog, order flows etc
  • Working knowledge of Aurora store framework, responsive web design
  • Hands-on experience with WCS Widgets development/customization
  • Experience in Accelerator, management center or Sales Center customization will be a plus.
  • IBM eCommerce developer certifications are preferred.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Experience of implementing projects with Global Delivery resources and working with third parties
  • Experience and knowledge of other Smarter Commerce software products such as Sterling Commerce, UNICA, Coremetrics
  • Experience of Enterprise architecture and delivering long-term roadmaps
  • Experience of service improvement initiatives and how to scope and drive these projects
  • Ability and experience to act as technical lead on bids and new initiatives
  • You love collaborative environments that use agile methodologies to encourage creative design thinking and find innovative ways to develop with cutting edge technologies
  • Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals and with creative approach to work
  • Intuitive individual with an ability to manage change and proven time management
