  • Within End-to-End Processing Solutions team, the Single Use / Multi Use Sales Development team drive worldwide adoption and implementation of products, systems and services from our Single Use and Hardware systems portfolio, with particular focus on project-based capital investment opportunities.
  • For the successful wins of Single Use/Multi Use HW systems and Large Investment Projects, the Automation Sales Development Specialist emphasizes our strengths in Automation and understands the needs of our customers and works with our global team to deliver successful results.
  • This position requires a high degree of interaction with the customer and in conjunction with Sales and key stakeholder partners within Operations, Technology Management, Field Service Engineering, Manufacturing Science and technology and Global Marketing.
Main responsibilities:
  • This position is a new role and the individual will need to create many of the tools, materials and relationships with Internal and external stakeholders.
  • Their primary responsibility will be to translate customer integration requirements e.g. User Management, data integration, network integration, anti-virus management and remote support access to the business area to drive appropriate feature development in our new system Product Development Projects and conversely to develop the tools to enable the commercial organization to correctly position our advanced network features to end-users and to systems infrastructure managers.
  • Additionally, this role includes more senior level accountability to provide advice and direction toward organizational design and requirements, help develop strategy, support the overall business development activities, and demonstrate the expertise and impact commensurate with level and managerial expectations.
Additional responsibilities:
  • Provides feedback of trends, competitions and new product to the Hardware field marketing and manager and assess that our system automation design meet customer and process needs.
  • Act as a process and project consultant at customer
  • Influence URS in early stage and translate customer s URS to our operation.
Hierarchical position within the organization:
  • Directly report to Bioprocess Systems & NovAseptic Components Sales Development Manager, APAC.
  • In-directly reporting to Bioprocess Systems & NovAseptic Components Sales Development Manager, China.
Knowledge/skills/Experience Requirements:
  • The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, strategic thinking, and results oriented with: Bachelor s Degree in a technical field such as Electrical engineering, Chemical engineering and Computer Science
  • 5+ years industrial controls and 5+ years industrial networks and protocols such opc , Ethernet I/P and Profibus
  • Must have knowledge of and experience in management, support and training biopharmaceutical market; experience within Life Science industry (regulation, cGMP, GAMP5 .) would be plus
  • Must be experienced and effective in working across boundaries and functions including organizational expansion in both scope and global reach
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written and in organization and project management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively internationally
  • IFix Wonderware Rockwell and Deltav experience a plus.
  • Experience in the bioprocessing industry and single-use manufacturing is highly desirable.
