OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLEThe expert reports to Delivery Manager. • Position will be based in Bangalore

RESPONSIBILITIES :-

• Serve as the in-house resident ANAPLAN expert to support a fast-paced and dynamic project execution
• Provide end-to-end technical expertise and knowledge in support of architecture, UI and data model design, security, and deployment of the ANAPLAN product.
• Lead overall project implementation and architecture of large volume applications in ANAPLAN
• Assist with the configuration of custom security roles and user access.
• Communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, in both written and oral formats.
• Assist with the evangelization and knowledge sharing of ANAPLAN throughout the organization.
• Assist with installation and testing of new releases of ANAPLAN updates/releases to ensure compatibility and minimize user impact.
• Drive development of reusable and simplified data models appropriate to support requirements
• Develop, communicate, and enforce data standards for data modelling and visualizations. Partner with technology team, Business Users and Product Management to drive successful adoption and evolution using these data sources
• Be the level 3 support of the run team on ANAPLAN
• Be able to assist the platform Operation owners on auditing the performances of the overall platform and suggest optimization on the configuration of the platform

The expert :

• Should have very good knowledge of Data Architecture / multi- Dimensional Modelling / Data Modelling in ANAPLAN.
• Should have experience in designing, developing and implementing ANAPLAN dashboards.
• Should have the ability to translate current customer spreadsheet models to effective, efficient, and scalable multi-dimensional Anaplan models
• Is responsible to explore, develop strong planning models for a given function. The planning models have to be standard across the Zone and should cover all areas of planning. Planning areas are: Commercial, Supply, Capex, Cash flow and Target & Size of the Pie calculation.
• Should leverage ANAPLAN tool to provide new way of planning delivering insights into business processes and data.
• Should understand Business Processes e.g. Budgeting & Planning, Rolling Forecast, overhead, Supply and Sales
• Should have expert skills of Excel spreadsheet modeling, macros, pivot tables, formulas, charts, etc.
• Ability to configure and maintain Anaplan lists, modules, dashboards, actions, and other model settings
• Should have strong SQL, Dashboard Development and Data integration skills strongly preferred
• Should have the ability to efficiently load large quantities of data from multiple data sources
• Should have Clear, logical, and effective verbal/written communication skills and to interpret technical material to clients
• Should have the Ability to work well independently with multiple deadlines
• Should have Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Will be expected to deliver hands-on, on following:

• Consolidate & articulate requirement gathering for the proposed dashboard and scorecards
• Propose plans and dashboards to be created based on the understanding of the requirements
• Data Model designing to accommodate user requirements
• Developing planning models & dashboards in ANAPLAN from scratch, build extensions where required.
• Performing set analysis and related dashboard development activities
• Performance Optimization of the dashboards

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE: -To be considered for this role, candidate needs to possess the following skills experience and attributes:

• Should be an Anaplan Certified Solution Architect
• At least 4 years of successfully implementing Anaplan solutions as Model Builder on 3 or more Anaplan implementation projects. And Good understanding of OLAP cubes functionality
• Knowledge of architecture, design, administration, and solution implementation in ANAPLAN.
• Experience in Installation, configuration, clustering & optimizing performance of the ANAPLAN product in a multi-node environment involving large data volumes
• Strong analytical, interpersonal & communication skills Ability to work independently
• 9+years of industry experience; 5+ years in any of the platforms such as Salesforce, Hyperion, Cognos, MicroStrategy etc. preferred.
