Job Description

About this Team: Works independently with only administrative supervision and the ability to overcome major obstacles and recognize early when issues should be escalated, or a senior peer needs to be consulted. Wide latitude for independent judgment and is expected to provide guidance to others on the database staff. Effectively communicates with all levels of technical and non-technical personnel.What you will be doing:
    • Work with internal support functions and onsite teams in resolving / preventing issues / escalations
    • Should be supporting in 24x7 mode
    • Mentor staff to ensure all duties are performed in an accurate and timely manner.
    • Plans and maintains efficient operations by designing, implementing and evaluating level one operations process.
    What you bring:
    • AIX & Linux Administration L2 skills & ITIL.
    • Hands on remote production support experience supporting Unix & AIX servers in a large infrastructure.
    • Sound knowledge and experience on ticket management system / tools. ServiceNow added advantage.
    • Troubleshooting experience on AIX, Linux and VMware platform.
    • Familiar/aware of ITIL procedures.
    • Good communication and client handling skills
