We are looking for an experienced engineer with strong experience using one or more of these technologies Kubernetes, ELK, Splunk and Kubeflow. As a member of the AI Platforms team, you will be a hands on capability and platform engineer who will be collaborating with global teams enabling new capabilities and platforms. A must-have experience in implementation of solutions using Kubernetes technologies. Usually holds an academic degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Computational Science. Responsibilities Explore and evaluate new capabilities and products related to ELK, Splunk, Kubeflow ecosystems. Participate in the creation of documents, guidance as it relates technologies within vendor based tools and open source Kubernetes ecosystems. Guiding development teams on usage of tools, BKMs, best practices, prescriptive guidance and standards. Development of automation capabilities for platform management like workload, maintenance, capacity, monitoring and alerting. Participate in knowledge sharing and representing team in presenting new capability findings, project status and deliverables in various internal forums.Qualifications BE, BS or MS in Computer Science Engineering with 6+ years experience. Must have experience in implementing and supporting enterprise solutions like Splunk, ELK, Kubeflow using Kubernetes open source capabilities on-prem and on cloud. Must have advanced hands on development experience including but not limited to Python, Jupyter notebooks, YAML, Linux shell scripting, Ansible and Kubernetes open source stacks. 3+ years of experience engineering and managing disaggregated platform architectures utilizing the Kubernetes framework to enable both open source compute and/or storage capabilities. Linux based platforms knowledge and troubleshooting experience Experience working independently on troubleshooting/resolving issues, capturing/analyzing benchmark performance, and reporting out findings. Good to have knowledge on usage and troubleshooting of APIs. Experience with Database technologies and Query languages is an added advantage . Team player is a MUST - Works well in a team environment with both senior and junior peers as well as your individual accountability ensuring the success of the team. The ideal candidate will also bring a diverse skill set: Experience with Agile, DevOps, CI/CD capabilities is a plus Experience in reporting tools is a plus Leadership, critical thinking, excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities Experience participating within open source communitiesInside this Business Group Intels Information Technology Group (IT) designs, deploys and supports the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel.
