Key AI development role to build delivery of Digital Workplace Support Services; Transform support service to a new Digital Support experience leveraging latest in Artificial Intelligence, contextual analytics , self-service and UX to meet Product Engineering IRB deliverables. This is critical to the business to provide key AI solutions as a differentiator in the market place; recent analysis of lost pursuits shows the importance of these solutions.Experienced integration developers with a detailed understanding of specific offerings represented in the Workplace & Mobility Support Services Digital Support. Capable of developing Code in AI and testing automated & orchestrated solutions to high-level quality needs; comfortable with building the details of specific technologies used in offerings . Understands the DXC go-forward strategies around their specific offering specialties. Well-connected and regularly engages with the Partners offering.A Product Development Engineer supporting the Build for Digital Support - Virtual Agent within the Workplace & Mobility Build organization. Provide assistance to the Engineering Development Lead in understanding product requirements and helping to turn them into Agile Themes and Stories as part of the planning process. Core part of an Agile Scrum Team working in Sprints based on the Stories identified. Specific activities include lab work installing and testing various components of the solution, determining guidelines / best practices for the configuration of the components and documentation of the solution such that others can use it directly for our clients. Output into Build, Sales & Solution & Delivery Kits.Specific Skills / Experience Needed : (cross section of skills needed and desire to learn others that are current gaps)Technology, Analytics & Artificial Intelligence ; Microsoft Architecture : Expert Industrialized Artificial Intelligence IBM Cloud/ BlueMix , Watson API Developer : ChatBot Experience : Strong verbal and written communications skillsFocus Areas in FY19 (nice to have, can be learned on the job)Further development of the AI Virtual Agent released in FY19. Extend Virtual Agent v1 Minimum Viable Product capabilities and Use Cases to enhance the User Experience on what Virtual Agent delivers:Extend Watson conversations and introduce long-tail answers (search functionality) for better user experienceIntroduce Multi-language and translation functionality for Watson conversationsExtend linkage to proactive actions (integration with Proactive Support capability)Extend VA backend to measure success rates, user sentiment, CSAT, and KM consumption.Education and Experience Required: 5+ years of professional experience and a Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in computer science or related area of study; without a degree, three additional years of relevant professional experience (8+ years in total).Knowledge and Skills Required: Has sufficient depth and breadth of technical knowledge to be individually responsible for the design and scope of deliverables within a field of expertise. Has led small team in delivery of a specific deliverable.Has mastered at least one technical discipline with strong knowledge in at least three major technology areas. Possesses advanced level of business, technical, or functional knowledge.Has ability to perform/drive resolution of problems on combinations and interactions of products. Ability to apply technology and consulting to solve a client business problem.Able to communicate and present complex issues with assurance and confidence. Demonstrates the use of consulting skills including: questioning, listening, ideas development, permission and rapport, and influencing.Ability to conduct/lead oral status/technical interchange meetings with clients on small to medium sized engagements.Owns and produces customer documentation. Ability to translate technical details into concise and easy to understand written form. Ability to write relevant components of a proposal document (e.g. answer specific RFP questions). Ability to translate verbal requirements from face to face client meetings into requirements documents, statements of work, and proposals.Able to discuss (within own area of expertise) requirements with a customer, and to challenge and clarify when appropriate. From the requirements, able to develop a high level design or plan, and then estimate the amount of effort required to deliver. Able to advise the engagement owner about the risks associated with this work package.Ability to work with a team to provide written responses to technical proposals and /or reports/documentation for delivery.,
