Job Description

    We are hiring for our client, a SEBI registered CAT-I Merchant Banking company that offers a wide range of financial services, including debt syndication, private equity, joint ventures, and mergers & acquisitions.Experience:
    • 3-10 years of relevant experience in merchant banking.
    Location:
    • Ahmedabad
    Package:
    • 22-25 LPA
    Role Overview:The Merchant Banking Vice President will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the firms merchant banking activities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of execution in the merchant banking industry, particularly in managing IPO transactions.Key Responsibilities:
    • IPO Transaction Execution:Lead and manage the execution of merchant banking transactions, ensuring that all legal, financial, and regulatory requirements are met.
    • Client Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and tailored solutions to meet their specific needs.
    • Regulatory Compliance:Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
    • Team Leadership:Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
    • Market Analysis:Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential opportunities for clients and the firm.
    • Other Roles:Perform additional responsibilities as required by the firm.
    Qualifications and Experience:
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in merchant banking.
    • MBA in Finance, Chartered Accountant (CA), or CFA.
    • NISM Certification.
    • Proven track record of executing at least 5-7 end-to-end IPO transactions.
    • Strong execution skills.

    • In-depth knowledge of the Indian capital markets and regulatory environment.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
