    Job Title: Supply Chain Incharge (Steel Industry)Position: Supply Chain Incharge (Steel Industry)Job Summary:The Supply Chain Incharge in the Steel Industry is responsible for overseeing and managing the end-to-end supply chain operations specific to steel products. This role involves strategic planning, procurement, logistics, and coordination with suppliers to ensure a smooth flow of materials and timely delivery of quality steel products.Key Responsibilities:Supply Chain Management:Strategic Planning:Develop and implement strategic supply chain initiatives to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall supply chain performance for steel products.Procurement:Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and agreements for the procurement of raw materials, steel components, and other supplies.Monitor supplier performance, conduct evaluations, and address issues related to quality, delivery, or cost.Logistics and Transportation:Optimize transportation and logistics strategies, including selecting carriers, optimizing routes, and ensuring timely delivery of steel products.Coordinate with logistics partners to streamline the movement of materials and finished products.Production Coordination:Work closely with the production team to align supply chain activities with manufacturing schedules and production requirements.Ensure the availability of raw materials and components to meet production demands.Inventory Management:Inventory Control:Implement effective inventory control measures to maintain optimal levels of steel products, minimizing stockouts and excess inventory.Conduct regular inventory assessments, cycle counts, and reconciliation to ensure accuracy.Order Processing:Implement efficient systems for order processing, stock replenishment, and back-order management.Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.Cross-functional Collaboration:Stakeholder Engagement:Collaborate with sales, production, and finance teams to align supply chain strategies with overall business goals.Foster effective communication and coordination with internal stakeholders to address challenges and optimize processes.Quality Assurance:Work closely with the quality control team to ensure adherence to quality standards throughout the supply chain.Reporting and Analysis:Data Analysis:Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement.Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.Reporting:Prepare regular reports on key supply chain metrics, including inventory levels, supplier performance, and logistics efficiency.Communicate supply chain status and challenges to relevant stakeholders.Please send your updated Resumes at hidden_emailContact Us:Pankaj Saroj91 hidden_mobile / hidden_emailTalish Solutions
