SR / TL / Mgr. Software Engineer (Embedded) Pune/ Ahmedabad Synopsis Looking for Embedded Software Engineer (SrTLMgr.) who is technically strong, and have hands on experience in, C/ C++ Programming Language with Linux. Should have experience of leading small/ large teamExperience 4 10+ YearsResponsibilities Requirement understanding, Design, Develop, unit testing & debugging of Embedded Software with any one of the following:Real- time applications, Device Drivers, Bootloader, BSP porting, Linux kernel/ RTOS, etc.Multimedia Systems (Audio and/ or video systems)Networking wired or wirelessEffort estimation, planning, customer InteractionTechnical ownership of module (s) and/ or project (s) and/ or domain (s)Mentor, lead and/ or build a team of 3 or more engineersDocumentation and process adherenceTechnical Leading and/ or Project managementPerson Specification Required Skills: 4+ years of experience in Embedded Software with sound fundamental of C1 3 Years of leadership experienceStrong at programming, debugging and communicationBasic scripting knowledge any Python/ Shell/ PerlHands on experience and strong domain knowledge on any one of the following domains with complex systems (SoC/ Processors/ FPGA):Bootloaders, BSP, Linux/ BareMetal/ RTOS device drivers, firmware developmentMultimedia domain expertise A/ V drivers, codecs, multimedia frameworks and middle- wares, Analytics, Hardware AccelerationsNetworking and Wireless domain expertise Linux/ proprietary drivers/ firmware, protocols, middle- ware and application integration, IOT systemsSound knowledge of version control and bug tracking systems GIT, JIRA, Perforce, CVS etcPassionate about learning new technologies, methodologies, strategies and processesShould be able to work in aggressive, high pressure environmentExcellent written and verbal communicationSelf- starter, problem- solving mentality, and creative thinkerFamiliarity with development using Host Target tool chains for embedded platformsExperience in system level debugging, reverse engineering, BSP, Linux Internals, Protocol level knowledge of interfaces would be added advantageFamiliarity with FPGA, ARM or any other popular processor architecture is requiredHands on experience on debugging tools like GDB, KGDB, JTAG, ADBFamiliarity with tools like Logic Analyzer, DSO/ CRO, Spectrum Analyzer would be added advantageClose cooperation with lead and project managerGood in documentation & shall be able to prepare the specification, design documents, test plan & test reports from requirementsReading schematics, datasheets, technical reference manual and Silicon revision sheetDesirable Skills: Quality process CMMi, Agile Scrum is requiredWorking with Open source software contributor is preferred,
