Leading Tomorrow TogetherJob Purpose/ SummaryResponsible for managing the entire gamut of HR for Group FunctionsJob TitleFunction Head-GF-HCGA-Human ResourceJob Description 1. HR Strategy Formulation Support a. Formulate appropriate HR strategies and agenda in line with the business needs, identification of trends, root cause analysis for. all identified focus areas at the Corporate level. b. Liaise with the HR policy units on initiative and issues at the plant and take inputs to be incorporated in the HR strategy for the year. 2. Manpower Planning & Budget a. Evolve organization structure based on business needs from time to time and send it to the GCHRO and MDs office for approval. b. Develop the manpower plan in consultation with other functional heads to ensure optimum workforce within organization and to institute measures to address long term needs. c. Institutionalize the implementation of a proper system of manpower approval and hiring for all open positions at the unit. d. Develop estimates of all costs related to the HR spends for the calendar year after gathering data from all stakeholders e. Finalize the Corp HR budget in conjunction with the GCHRO & monitor all plan activities to ensure compliance to the plan Budget. 3. HR Operations a. Formulate and administer employee related policies specific to the business b. Ensure that the HR operations are managed smoothly and all employee records, compliances etc. are well maintained & ensure that service providers are effectively managed within the cost budgets. 4. Performance & Rewards a. Implement the performance management & Reward system as promulgated by the Lead Performance & Rewards. b. Run reviews, KRA workshops and grievance cell for proper implementation of the performance management system. 5. Learning & Development a. Deploy the L&D program to build organization capability in line with the units business plans and the Talent Management policy developed by Head - Talent Management b. Implement the development plans including training, counselling, career planning and other development interventions c. Ensure appropriate Induction programs for new recruits d. Institutionalize systems and processes to build a leadership pipeline e. Implement appropriate OD initiatives from time to time to meet specific objectives. 6. Employee Engagement a. Designing & implementing the employee communication framework & deploy the critical elements of the framework at all locations across the Group. b.
