Job Description

Roles Responsibilities :

  1. Responsible for Identification, assessment, qualifying selection of suppliers from India region with total cost of ownership approach for Steel , Sheet metal , castings , machined parts , Rubber, category (Best value Country)
  2. Well versed with negotiations, cost models, RFI RFQ E-tools and Cost comparison sheets. .
  3. Representing the category competing with various other inter plants promote the supplier to become global cost competitive supplier for high Cost Countries.
  4. Support Localization activities for various Sondex India requirements to manage efficient supply chain.
  5. Must be proficient in Project management, Presentation, Developing suppliers and meeting with suppliers and working closely with internal key stake holders.
  6. Understanding on PPAP level 3 processes, Physical testing, Mechanical Testing, Microstructure, Non Destructive testing, well versed with Magnetic particle, Die Penetrant and Radiography testing, etc.
  7. Drive Key metrics such Quality, Cost Delivery after implementation and transition to supply chain team .
  8. Value engineering- Deploying Value Engineering initiatives to achieve Value analysis reduce costs for improving productivity benefits beyond 2nd year of sourcing.
  9. Knowledge about financials about supplier financial health for assessing the supply chain risk mitigation related to supplier recommendation.
  10. Implementation of group KPIs (Key Performance Indicators i.e. Quality, Cost, Delivery etc.) at supplier place
