Job description Formative Search has partnered with a global leader in the energy sector. They are seeking for a Corporate Finance Analyst to join their team in Ahmedabad, India. You will play a key role in assisting the financial operations for their renewable energy projects. There will be an opportunity to travel for this role.What you will be doing:

Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate the financial viability of renewable energy projects, considering various scenarios and risk factors.
Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to support investment decisions and optimize project returns.
Evaluate potential renewable energy investment opportunities, conduct due diligence, and provide financial insights to support decision-making.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and recommend strategic financial decisions for project financing.
Prepare and present detailed financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, including executive summaries and presentations for senior management and board meetings.
Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and regulations.
Contribute to the development of long-term financial plans and strategies for renewable energy initiatives.
Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making at both project and corporate levels.

What An Outstanding Candidate Will Look Like:

Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. MBA or relevant professional certification (CFA, CPA) is a plus.
Proven experience in corporate finance, M&A, or transactions advisory, focusing on the renewable energy sector.
Preferable with a background from local Indian banks, deals/transactions advisory or renewable energy developers.
Strong financial modelling skills and proficiency in using financial analysis tools.
Knowledge of project finance principles and experience in evaluating renewable energy project investments.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Understanding of financing and loans.
