Responsibilities will include:Analyze the business needs and assess feasibility for enhancements to existing application or building new applicationsElicit and document business and functional & non-functional requirementsConduct JAD sessions and interviews with business stakeholdersGenerate process/data flow diagrams, use cases, user guides, and QRCsCollaborate and Liaise with Development, Client, and Quality Assurance teamsLeverage Business Analysis process and context within IT to enable communication/negotiation with others on effortsLearn and become proficient in the Firm, the IT Business Groups, the team, and tools provided (Office, Visio, Access, SQL etc) to enable successful delivery of requirementsCommunicate with all parties involved (project team, stakeholders, and sponsors) through Analysis Services, Management, and Executive Leadership as neededGet involved in reviewing quality assurance plan, test plan to fortify that the business scenarios are getting fully covered in testingRequired Skills5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a technical environment.3 years of experience conducting functional specifications, use cases, process flow diagrams and product documentation writing skillsAbility to build consensusHands on experience in prioritizing the work backlog, groom backlog, influence release priorities3 years of experience in an Agile or Waterfall environmentMaintain traceability checklistMust have developed various documentation required for the project delivery including but not limited to Business Requirements Document, Functional Specification Document, System Requirements Document, User Guide, Traceability Matrix, Gap AnalysisOther Expertise:Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skillsUnderstanding of systems engineering conceptsAbility to multi-task with good organizational and time management capabilitiesExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong and proven problem solving skillsExcellent in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)Nice to have Skills:Open Source Solution experience is a significant plusKnowledge on Portals, Collaboration, eCommerce and Content Management technology platformsProject management knowhow
