He/She should perform few familiarization reactions and to make the documents for scale up batch at manufacturing facility. Also monitors the batch and understand the gap in the process on scale and do the trouble shooting work whenever required. The candidate should actively work in shop floor of scale up facility while execution and lab optimization reactionsKey Result AreasRole-specific:

  • Basic understanding of chemistry and knowledge on different types of reactions.
  • Performing lab experiments and interpretation skills on the analytical data like NMR, Mass etc.
  • LNB writing skills and preservation of the records as per the requirement
  • Anticipate scale up challenges and identify possible areas of improvement towards process robustness
  • Knowledge on scale up pilot plant and trouble shooting
  • Knowledge on document compliance to cGMP batches.
  • OOT, OOS and deviation closure - basic knowledge
  • Process excellency, de-bottlenecking to retrofit / capacity enhancement and cost reduction
  • Lab safety practices and knowledge on fire hydrants, masks etc.
  • Working in shifts depends on the requirement
  • Project update and client communication
  • Preparation of campaign report and investigation report
  • Possess the knowledge and exposure to Environment, Health, Safety, and Sustainability (EHSS) practices.
  • Follow Environment, Health, Safety, and Sustainability (EHSS) requirements at all times in the workplace ensuring individual and lab/plant safety.
  • Attend training on Environment, Health, Safety, and Sustainability (EHSS)
Education and Experience EducationMaster s degree in ScienceIndustry Experience 6-9 years of relevant experienceOther competencies required for the role
  • Experience in Process Development and Scale up.
  • Excellent communication (Oral and written)
  • Good Knowledge on regulatory and quality compliance in terms of equipment/ instrument.
