Our services range from business strategy and market assessments to project management and training.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for an Academic Coordinator at MITCON Consultancy and Engineering Services Ltd located in Indore. The Academic Coordinator will be responsible for education and curriculum development, communication, academic advising, and research. They will collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to ensure academic success, coordinate academic programs, and provide support to students. The role will require working closely with. various departments and stakeholders to enhance the academic experience.OverviewAn Academic Counsellor plays a crucial role in guiding students to achieve academic and personal success. Working from home, this role involves providing support and guidance to students in various educational settings to help them navigate academic challenges and make informed decisions about their educational and career paths.Key Responsibilities Offer academic guidance and support to students Assist students in setting educational and career goals Provide counseling on academic and personal issues Develop and implement individualized academic success plans Conduct academic assessments to identify student needs Collaborate with educators and parents to support student success Facilitate workshops on study skills and time management Stay updated on academic programs and educational resources Monitor student progress and make appropriate interventions Coordinate with other support services for student welfare Keep accurate records of student interactions and progress Stay abreast of academic policies and regulations Contribute to the development of counseling programs and resources Participate in professional development activities Adhere to ethical and confidentiality guidelines Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in Counseling, Education, Psychology, or related field Proven experience as an academic or educational counselor Knowledge of counseling techniques and best practices Understanding of academic advising and career development Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and time management abilities Ability to empathize and build rapport with students Problem-solving and decision-making skills Familiarity with academic assessment tools and resources Knowledge of educational systems and requirements Ability to maintain confidentiality and ethical standards Proficiency in educational software and tools Certification in counseling or related field is a plus Experience in remote counseling or advising preferred Familiarity with virtual communication platforms Skills: communication,organization,empathy,skills,sales & marketing,business development,
